Artist in Residence - Toos Neger, Dordrecht, The Netherlands
Undertaking an artist in residence (AiR) is a meaningful way for artists (of all types) to have the time and space to develop new networks, create new work and learn new skills.
While I always bring home new work, I also bring home with me a little bit of the people I meet - and the lands they live in - they stay in my heart. The photographs I create, or the art I make become the physical connection that links me forever with them.
I am by nature not a religious person - this image speaks to those whose religious life gives their personal life meaning.
