A Helles from Tegernsee

This weekend I spend some extra working time in Munich and what is better as having a beer with some friends in that Hotel where I hang out on my Friday evening.

What a nice bar!

Sure, if you are at an international hotel like the Hilton, they have a nice bar. But this place here in Munich has really a nice atmosphere and you hear people from all around the world in so many different languages. The setup at the bar was really nice, as the waiter did a lot cocktails all the time, he had several parts sitting on top of the bar and in front of me.

The company is the successor of a beer brewery allegedly founded around 1050 at Tegernsee, where the Benedictine monastery Tegernsee was founded in 746. Today's brewery dates back to 1675. The annual output is around 120,000 hectolitres.

Where did I had this beer?

The Bar is inside the Hilton Hotel wich is situated on the edge of Munich's famous Englischer Garten public park.
