Exchanging Money At Istanbul Airport
You are at the Istanbul Ataturk airport and you want to exchange money there. Don't be fool. The commission rate is very high compared to other exchange offices in the city. You need around 5 Turkish Lira to buy a metro ticket to go to the Taksim by metro. In Taksim, you can find many exchange offices. The metro station is the last stop at the Airport, and you can directly go to Yenikapi metro station and then change to M2 metro for the Taksim station. To buy a metro ticket, you can just exchange 5 USD or 5 Euro at the airport and then keep the rest of your money for the normal exchange office. Keep in mind that you can change your money in banks for about almost the same price but you have to wait in lines. By the way, metro is the easiest way to reach the central places from the airport.
