Whitaker Gateway Park

Do you want to enjoy a nice day out by the ocean but don't want to be at the beach? Take a journey down to Whitaker Gateway park. In Sarasota, Florida. The grass is green, tall trees making shade while you sit on a bench watching the bay. This park is great for bringing your dogs here. With a open area to play fetch or run around. Bring your children here too! There is a playground to go on for ages 2+. If you want to go fishing for some trout, flounder, or other fish, there is a pier just for that! I hope you like going here as much as I do!

At the front of the park is a big area for activities!!!

Walking the pathway the trees give shade if you get to hot.

The playground has a bathroom next to it so you don't have to walk far if your little one has to go.

If you want to have a get together there is a great place for that! My friend Donna had her baby shower here. Perfect place! Has a nice shade area and when the wind is blowing its a nice place to cool off.

There is plenty of place to sit by the water. Also a great spot to fish!
