Our Journey to Houston Texas: The First Page in Our New Chapter

Our love story has been with so many trials for almost 5 years already. The whole plot was not that easy to narrate but one thing for sure I am so happy to discuss with you all how our LDR went to a very sweet realistic hugs, kisses and all in all fleshy attachments with each other because the long wait is now over and all the processing of papers and waiting for the perfect time to be each other's arms together has come.

LDR No More, Videochat No More, Different Timezone No More!

Our flight that is bound for a route from Mactan Cebu International Airport to Taipei was scheduled 10:00 in the morning, April 11, 2018. So, I woke my baby up at 6 early in the morning and headed to Mactan Airport.

she was a bit cranky at first because 6 am is not her waking time and I am sure at this moment she doesn't know that we will be going to Texas to be with her Dad, finally!

It took almost an hour for us to be at the said airport, the traffic at that time was almost in its thick state good thing my baby girl didn't throw her early morning tantrums

We were so early for our first trip so we decided to take our breakfast inside the airport. And by the time the Eva Air staffs are about to open the line for baggage check-in, we then decided to fall in line. For a couple of minutes, my baby was so bored so we roam around the airport and let her pick some goodies in the airport store just to make her happy.

As a first-time traveler going to an international destination we were intended to pay the travel tax fee Php 1650 and terminal fee Php 750.

And inside the waiting area, I let my baby roam around and let her play with the other kids for her to get so drained and will not mind getting bored inside the plane for almost 4 hours. By that time I was so amazed at my baby because she was so friendly and she loves giving everyone a sweet smile and some ''Hello''. Fastforward. Inside the plane I let her watched her fave TV series PAW PATROL and MY LITTLE PONY.

Because she was so drained out with all the running, she then fell asleep until our ride arrived at Taipei International Airport.

We arrived at Taipei International Airport at 2:oo pm. Good thing the staff let us in inside the waiting area or in the gate area because its gonna be a long journey for us, we had the longest layover in my life! -- EIGHT HOURS!.*

Let her play with her books and stickers

Gave her the most comfortable accommodation ever! LOL just for her not to get bored and throw me some 8 hours tantrums!

We then eventually saw an indoor playground for kids while waiting for the flight!! YEY!

And my baby made some new friends already!

Traveling is the perfect way to meet different people and build new connections even just for a couple hours

NOW! Our 'ever' 'most' 'longest' airplane ride

THE 13 HOURS AIRPLANE BOOGIE WITH A TODDLER!

We boarded in the plane at 11:00 pm, the crew gave us some late dinner/ midnight goodies before we hit some airplane bugs. And then we took the longest butt aching plane sleepover in my entire life! LOL

When my boss baby woke up....

She then watched her fave series again! Please don't judge me LOL! I did bring along with us lots of books, stickers, and toys, and she really did tried everything, we did! Well, that for sure - IT IS NOT THAT EASY TO TRAVEL WITH A TODDLER! I SWEAR! LOL

WELCOME TO THE USA!

traveling with a toddler will never be that super easy! especially when you are a first timer like me in most of the international airports/ So I am so thankful with my father-in-law for helping me with my ever so energetic toddler

and...

HELLO HOUSTON!

For almost one hour of waiting inside the immigration office, for almost one hour my baby been entertaining the people inside the immigration office, we finally then get the chance to hug the whole fambam! And of course kiss my bananaOnanah!
