🍙 Dean's Tokyo Snapshots 🍙 Leave home to see something homey
From this trip to Tokyo, so far we have found out a difference as compared to our previous trip here .... we have seen so many stores selling Taiwan style food or services or some stores that are from Taiwan and doing business here. Meanwhile, yesterday we saw the news that prominent Taiwanese bookstore chain Eslite(誠品書店) is planning to expand into Japan... wow! courageous...
It felt so weird to see our famous Taiwan railway ricebox here... at triple price though... ^^
So many familiar dishes... really weird.... I definitely wouldn't go to this restaurant! lol

Even food massage claims to be Taiwan style...
and the real estate agent Sinyi(信義房屋) is here ...
If you are expecting me to say that I miss home already, then.... NO! I am not done with Japan yet! Don't wanna go back just yet!

this Dean's Tokyo Snapshots series ( #dean-tokyo as a specific tag) is my photographic diary for my family trip to Tokyo. Hahaha, these might come handy for some Taiwanese who live there when they feel homesick? It reminds me of buying souvenirs overseas and later seeing “made in China” at the bottom...

"Food massage?" immediately caught my attention.
I immediately thought "Is that some weird Japanese restaurant where you massage sushi (food /fud/) while they massage your foot /fʊt/?" Good for a laugh on Monday morning ;-)
I agree: when I am a tourist, I don't want to see reminders of where I just came from. I am seeking something interesting and exotic.
I live in Japan, but I did not know "赤とんぼ." I would like to go this time.
