DTube - Beautiful Hike up to Grandfather Mountain - Praded, Czech Republic

Continuing with the press trip I did with Czech Tourism, I did a 9 kilometer hike up the Bila Opava valley in the Jeseniky Mountains of northeast Czech Republic. Praded is the tallest of the mountains in this region and it means Grandfather.

The hike following the stream through the forest was pretty breathtaking. When the light hit just right it seemed like I was hiking to Rivendell in Lord of the Rings.

The cool thing was that when we got to the top of the mountain, we got to stay in the hotel that's attached to the TV transmitter tower that's at the summit. It made for a great sunset.
