Aloha fellow steemians and welcome again to another one of my great adventures. This time around, I am going to share with you all about the Borneo Sun Bear. I have to tell you all that this is one fascinating and certainly, the cutest bear I have ever encountered, they are so fluffy it makes you feel like you want to hug them hahaha.

I have been to Sandakan for quite a several times already and what can I say, they always provide you with the greatest view of Mother Nature. Sandakan offers few conservations centre and one of the most I have visited was the Borneon Sun Bear Conservation Centre. The Borneon Sun Bear Conservation Centre or also known as BSBCC is an organisation that helps rescue and also provides facility to rehabilitate the protected animal.

Malayan Sun Bear is known to be the smallest bear in the world and they can only be found in Southeast Asia. Due to the forest degradation and illegal hunting, the sun bear was being killed down to the extent that it might one day extinct this cute living animal on this planet earth. Currently, they have rescued 42 ex-captive sun bears and what can I say, the facilities that they provide for the bears are certainly fascinating. Surrounded by the beautiful forest, you can see clearly how happy all the bears in the rehabilitation centre.

The Sun Bear Conservation Centre starts opened up for public in 2014 and tourist can walk around the canopy walk provided by the conservation centre, though you cannot touch the bears or get up close with the bear, they provide a telescope for all the visitors so you all can view the bear in much more closer view.
