El Tatio
El Tatio, in the Atacama desert region, is the third largest geyser field in the whole world, just behind Iceland and New Zealand.
The Atacama desert sits at the bottom of the Andes, but this particular field is located high in the Andes mountain. It took us a few hours to get up to the site, which is the highest altitude of any geyser field in the world.
