RE: At First Glance - A Few Things I’ve Noticed

in #travel6 years ago

Doesn’t leave much room for stupid drivers now does it. Gotta be on high alert at all times.

Eh, I’m impressed, you couldn’t be more precise, that’s exactly what it is. One of our hosts explained that to me, the significance of the wild west driving, it does cause everyone to be on high alert and that’s exactly why there aren’t any car wrecks. Good one, Splatts, they needed to explain that one to me.

I know a couple Americans that can show me the ropes.

Bet your.... you do!

Oh yeah, monkeys, sloths, crocodiles, all kinda wild life, once I begin collecting images, you know I’ll hook you up. I can’t make this up, just 15 minutes ago we had to escort a gray bird to an open window so it would fly out of the house we’re staying in. Eh, I don’t know how she booked this joint, by the way, it’s super cheap and it’s massive! Walking from one side of the house to the other actually sucks.

When I get done changing all these street lights out.

There’s gonna be a bunch of flipped pissed off birds! 😉 Eh man, my pleasure for showing you our new place, we’re just getting started. So long as you appreciate em, I’ll keep me coming. Thank you brother! Now about that equipment..

Oh my goodness! Eh, linemen are nuts, I’ve never suggested otherwise. Honestly, I haven’t got a good look at the transmission lines, not yet anyway, but oh my goodness you should see some of these “switch yards.” I think a clearance should be authorized just to look at them!! Insane. I’ll grab some images some time. And check this out, at the second place we stayed, I guess something happened on the highway, a pole got hit or went down or something? Eh, en entire grid went out! The whole thing.. neighborhoods, markets, commercial, street lights, done! Not just a block or a few city blocks. AS FAR as you could see!! Hahaha. The neighbordhood turned into a huge party, everyone was in the streets drinking and partying and stuff until the lights came on about four hours later. Even FACP’s in the complex we were staying at were in alarm mode.... “Costa Rican time.” Have you ever heard of losing power to the fire controls for 4 hours?! I love it.

Thanks for stopping by @jlsplatts and thanks for drawing this winded response out of me. 👍🏿
