Vitosha mountain is right next to the capital of Bulgaria-Sofia. It is easily accessible by public transport and its an unique mountain park where you can relax and calm only 20 minutes away from the city centre. And now the winter is already here!

Is the Ski season opened already?
Hi, still not, will be opened in the middle of December. Its like this in all of Bulgaria. Even if there is a lot of snow, they wait until the middle of December, because then the temperatures will be perfect for the snow cover to stay and to bring the machines for the operating of the ski slopes.
