The town of Shumen is situated in the eastern part of Bulgaria around beautiful nature. All around the city there are preserved soviet monuments and buildings. The history comes alive when you walk around the town. If you climb up to the main monument, you can see the whole town and the valley around. It is perfect for culture tourism and for the history lovers. Shumen has it all - modernism and history in one place. Not to mention the old beer brewery in the city, producing good quality beer from centuries.
