Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @softa:

Today we continue to introduce Prague chateaux. After yesterday from the north of Prague it will be on the opposite side of the town today. The Zbraslav Chateau, formerly a monastery, is located in Zbraslav. One of the oldest Czech books Zbraslav Chronicle was created here. Until 2009, the National Gallery was located here. He is currently in private hands and is inaccessible.

When you visit the Czech Republic, you might want to visit some caves. There's many beautiful caves that have guided tours. The photo below is from Macocha. The Macocha Abyss, also known as the Macocha Gorge, is a sinkhole in the Moravian Karst cave system of the Czech Republic located north of the city of Brno, near the town of Blansko. You can take a guided tour of the caves. Part of the caves is actually under water, so half the tour is walking and the other half is on a small boat. Very cool!

I am very pleased to see Moravian Karst making its way to the contest. This will make a perfect entry for today´s edition. Thank you so much. Tomas

Traveling in the winter in the Czech Republic, we spent several days in the beautiful city of Pilsen. In this photo, on the background of the Museum of Western Bohemia, there is a memorial to the Victims of the Communist regime. It is installed in memory of people who suffered from the totalitarianism of power in 1948-1988.

Today's post is not a castle in the true sense. But this is the summer residence of Ferdinand I. He left this building built between 1538-1565 as part of the royal garden. It is built in a Renaissance style and is called Belveder. This building is a short walk from Prague Castle and is definitely worth a visit, even if it is just a neighboring garden.

Fabulous entry as always! Thank you so much!

For today´s contest I chose a quite different image that I took in Prague. So you can see this amazing city during the night and this photo should be the impuls for you to finally visit Prague, especially in sunny days when you can enjoy this breathtaking view outside while you drink coffe, like I did 😊 In the picture you can see Charles Bridge at night :)

On my very first day to Prague we walked through Old Prague Square on our way to Charles Bridge. This old part of Prague is vibrant and full of architectural detail and splendor... if you every travel to Prague I would suggest you stay as close as possible to this center! ;)

For today's post I have prepared a photo from a place that is well known for tourists - Marianske Lazne. Places of interest are: Hamelika Lookout Tower, Bohemian Park, Singing Fountain - Spa Symbol, Main Colonnade, City Museum - the house where Mr. W. Goethe lived, and much more. I definitely recommend this place to visit, it is really beautiful here.

the Prague Astronomical Clock it’s one of the most popular attraction in The capital, it was made and installed in 1410 so she is the oldest still working example of her kind.
Definitely worth to visit.

Church of Our Lady at Jungmann Square, Prague 1, New Town. It was built by Charles IV. It was supposed to be the biggest in the New Town. But he was never finished. The towers are missing ... It is almost impossible to see, even though it is a huge building 100 meters from Wenceslas Square.

Today’s picture captures another skyscraper in Brno – M-Palac. This skyscraper was built in 1997, it is postmodern architecture. This building has a special a lookout floor - we can rent it and see sunset in Brno. You can also see Petrov, Spilberk, the old train station and other historical buildings from M-Palac. Right next to this building is standing the highest building (for now) in the Czech Republic – AZ Tower.

The Carlos bridge has 31 statues of Saints, but without a doubt the king of the visits is San Juan Nepomuceno. The praguense saint was executed by Wenceslao IV for contempt and thrown into the Vltava after being martyred. That is why thousands of tourists a day put their hands on a relief that is at the feet of the saint where the figure of Nepomuceno is seen when he is thrown into the river, as they believe he brings luck. After touching the profile of the saint, the sheet has been worn and can be easily distinguished because its color is much less dark than the rest of the relief.

Also, on your left there is another plate where a dog is represented. Well, today the dog has stolen part of the role of Juan Nepomuceno, and there are many visitors who also touch it to make a wish. It is said that whoever touches it will return to Prague.
