7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday week #73 - winner announcement!

@jpphotography Asian Sunday entry:

Don Khon Waterfall, Laos. After four exchausting and amazing days on the motorbike in the Bolaven Plateu last week, I visited two of the 4000 islands that are located in the South of Laos in the Mekong River and are a great place to relax. I am a bit proud of myself that I actually managed to get some work done in this chilled and hot place; To reward myself, I rented a bicycle in the afternoon and explored Don Khon island where I found this beautiful waterfall just before sunset.

Here i share with you my interpretation of the "Rusty Nail" which is located in Brandenburg, Germany. Europe. Its a pretty cool 30m tall steel structure that gives you a great overview of the surrounding lakes. In my original post i have a few more interesting version of lighting this viewing tower during the blue hour.

Winter Magic
It's a beautiful thing to see. Majestic towering red mountains turned white under a blanket of fresh snow. While the setting sun turns light into winter magic, which spreads wonderful color across the land and sky. But only for a few precious moments. Sedona Arizona USA.

This is great. My goal to get a picture of Sedona in the snow.

Thanks and good luck! It's suppose to snow here Sunday night into Monday.

Wonderful, thanks for the heads up

A view of Seattle. This city of the North West of USA, it is very nice, since it is surrounded with lakes and mountains. You can see in the photo some of the boats on one of the lakes of the city and in the background a view of the skyscrapers at downtown.

Beautiful Sedona

Yesterday, February 14, 2019 was Valentine's Day and also Arizona's 107th birthday. Happy Birthday Arizona, thanks for being a great state to call home for the past 12 years. This was taken in one of my favorite parts of Arizona.... Sedona. Link to original post.

Wonderful scenery. I love the composition here.

Thanks so much.

Schnebly Hill Road is a fun drive with amazing views. Nice shot.

Entering Kananaskis Country , Just outside of the city of Calgary, AB. Kananaskis isn't a park preserve but more like a county in the rockies. There is a string of provincial parks in the county. Most of it is only visited and nothing for infrastructure or housing in most of the county so out there is complete wilderness.

During my trip in Louisiana, USA, I spent a night in a small town. Did not have any reservation since we did not know how long it would take us to visit. The first hotel was full, the second one was too expensive and the third one was just here, in the middle of nowhere. I don’t event know how we found it since it was so hidden. Good memories of our stay but could not go back since I don’t know how I got there.
