Winter Charm. For the northern hemisphere tomorrow is the Winter Solstice and seasonal snowy cold weather could soon follow. When snow blankets the Red Rock Country it creates a charming effect with a beautiful blend of colors. This wonderful snowstorm passed over on New Years Day morning to start 2019 and left behind frigid temperatures in its wake. Sedona Arizona USA.
Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.
Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 Steem in total.
Please see the winners of the previous contests of the week and give them your support if you like their images to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for them by upvoting their winner announcement posts below:

Real life captured on a busy street somewhere in the center of Havana, the capital city, largest city, province, major port and leading commercial center of Cuba. Havana has a population of 2.1 million inhabitants and it spans a total area of 781.58 sq km (301.77 sq mi).
Taken in downtown Banff. A popular public park with a trail network and a bridge to connect both sides of the river. The park is equipped with dining areas, sidewalks and various activities to spend the evening relaxing by the river after being at the top of Sulfur Mountain for the day.

The Sievers mountain ranges are in Aspen. Accessible(dangerously) from Maroon creek road. The view you see in the photograph is from Maroon Bells view point at Maroon Creek. The top of the mountains already have the snow and waiting for the sunlight to shine orange red.

The Distillery District in Toronto is super cool, with great bars, shops and restaurants. I don't believe anything is 'distilled' there any longer but it buzzes with activity at night.
Street in Trinidad, Cuba
Trinidad's streets are beautiful, even more in the warm golden hour light that I enjoyed during my visit in late December 2015. The city center of Trinidad is crowded with tourists, but while the main square has some impressive colonial architecture, it is the side streets that make for the best photos.

This photo corresponds to Lake Minnewanka in Banff National Park. This park, located at the Canadian Rockies in the province of Alberta, has very breathtaking landscapes, rivers, lakes, mountains and wide variety of wild life.
The Switchbacks
Heading South to Sedona from Flagstaff Hwy 89-A comes to the edge of the Colorado Plateau then drops down into Oak Creek Canyon. It's a steep decent down the switchbacks to reach the bottom of the canyon. The view from the top is amazing and attracts many visitors to the public overlook.
The bayous of Louisiana are the perfect backdrop for a romantic or a horror movie. During the day, the trees have a magical touch, in the evening, they are spooky.
Capitol Reef National Park is in Utah's south central desert it was definitely one bazaar place to see you felt like you were on a different planet surrounded by these long wrinkle Chimney Rock pillars protruding out of the earth known as the Waterpocket Fold, with layers of golden sandstone, canyons and striking rock formations formed over millions of years.
My visit to the Grand Canyons National Park, in Arizona was one spectacular journey and i was lucky enough to be there just by the end of winter where they just had there last snow fall a couple days before i arrived and how breathtaking it was to see the Grand Canyons partially covered in snow was just a amazing sight to see.
