The brigde connects the North and the South of Rotterdam, which is divided in the centre by the river The Maas. @worldcapture Asian Sunday entry:

Thale Noi Lotus Lake. The sunrise around this lake was probably the most beautiful one I've ever seen in my life. The golden/orange sky felt almost unreal watching it from the boat. The location was in Phattalung - South Thailand.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – African Wednesday week #96 – winner announcement!

@jpphotoraphy African Wednesday entry:

Nejjarine Fountain in Fez, Morocco. This beautiful fountain can be found in the Medina of Fez. It is ornamented with mosaics and carvings. Fez' Medina is as confusing to get around as a labyrinth, so you are more likely to discover places like this by accident rather than by searching for it.

Side view of a beautiful old church found in the tiny Polish village of Pilscz. The village is located only a few kilometers of the Czech-Polish borders. I visited Pilscz during a bike trip just a couple of days ago.

Art installations in Zagreb, Croatia

I discovered this art installation when strolling through Zagreb. The capital of Croatia also features some beautiful architecture and an impressive cathedral and was a great first stop on my short trip to the Balkans last year.

This is a part of the Old Castle of Stuttgart, Germany, which stands in the middle of the city center, directly next to the New Castle. The history of this castle goes back to the year 950.

The Apuseni are probably the wildest part of the Carpathians. Wild animals roam free in the natural reserves and man's touch is barely felt. And the nights are so dark that you can just lay down and gaze the milky way.

Photo of one of the towers of Cologne Cathedral in Germany. These towers were the highest structure in the world until 1884 (when the Washington Monument was built). The construction of this gothic cathedral started in the 13th century but it was not finished until the 19th century.

While visiting northern Ireland, I went to see sleeve League which is the second highest cliff in Europe. The place is magical, it will leave you voiceless! Best time to visit the place is for the sunset, I guarantee it is so beautiful you won't want to move anywhere else!

Location: Ireland.

The pirate’s bay - the name alone seems mysterious. Near the small village Tijarafe on the island La Palma, you will find this beautiful bay.
Legend has it that pirates and smugglers used to live here. Today, there remain holiday houses constructed in the bay that offer a spectacular view.

This rock is called "The Sphinx" for the way it looks like, and it represents one of the most known and visited touristic attractions from Romania. The stories about how it appeared are numerous, from being a gift from aliens, the results after Decebal killed his own son for ritual sacrifice in this place, or just a natural monument. All in all, it's something unique and it worth a visit for sure!

Santorini is an island that was destroyed by a volcanic eruption in the 16th century BC. This disaster has given its beautiful rugged landscapes overlooking the Aegean Sea. The white houses hung on the side of the cliffs gives it its unique character and the black, red and white lava pebble beaches are also to discover.
