Tram in Prague. The day I took this photo the sky looked very dark, but the sun was still shining on the streets of Prague. I went to see the "dancing house" and on my way back towards the old town, I found myself in this beautiful street.
Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.
Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.
Please see the winners of the previous contests of the week and give them your support if you like their images to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for them by upvoting their winner announcement posts below:
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday week #75 - winner announcement!
@vcclothing Asian Sunday entry:
My view from the hotel balcony at Atlantis on the Palm in Dubai, was the perfect spot to watch the sun set behind our building as we relaxed after a long flight from Africa. After 3 weeks of camping through Africa the Atlantis had the most comfortable bed ever haha.
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday week #75 - winner announcement!
@itchyfeetdonica Australian Monday entry:
This is the stunning sunset at Whisky Bay, a peaceful stretch of sheltered beach inside Wilsons Promontory National Park in Victoria, Australia. After we drove to the car park in the heavy rain and walked through a moist gully and sand dunes, we arrived to this amazing secluded beach when the sun came out and started to set.
@jpphotography Tuesday of Antarctica and World´s Oceans entry:
View on Bay of Islands, New Zealand. Bay of Islands is an area dotted with more than 100 beautiful small islands off the shores of the North Island. Bay of Islands is a popular destination; This photo is from one of the best viewpoints on one of the larger islands, accessible only by boat.
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - African Wednesday week #75 - winner announcement!
@karma-panorama African Wednesday entry:
This is the cobra wall, in funeral complex of Djoser of Saqqara, Egypt. These female cobras are a symbol of the monarchy evoking the goddess Ouadjet de Bouto, protector of the North, who embody the protective and destructive power of the pharaoh.

The Roman Forum is an area of the city of Rome which the ancient city developed around. It is the place where commerce, business and the administration of justice took place. It was for centuries the centre of Roman public life. It was the site of triumphal processions and elections; the venue for public speeches, criminal trials, and gladiatorial matches.
Somewhat unusual view of La Sagrada Familia - the iconic landmark of Barcelona and one of the most famous and photographed churches in the world. I wish I had a chance to see this architectural jewel without the scaffolding and cranes though. Maybe one day :)
This is the view I got from Zugspitzblick in Austria, close to the border with Germany. The green lake you see here is Blindsee. Mother nature never fails to impress me, and words always fail me when I face this kind of beauty. :) So just have a look at my photo. Hope you enjoy this view from the Alps like I did!
The Robba Fountain in Ljubljana (Slovenia). It is also known as the three rivers fountain, since it symbolizes the main three rivers of the European country. It was made by the Italian artist Francesco Robba in the 18th century. Behind the fountain the Ljubljana Cathedral can be seen.
These two lakes Sete Cidades were the reason for our trip to the Azores, Portugal. The picture was taken from the King's view spot. From this place you can also start hiking tours around the lakes.
Italy - so classically European and the birthplace of modern civilization. Also home to some truly wonderful buildings, such as Santuario di San Luca in Bologna. Its quite a walk up to the top of the hill, but well worth it.
Quinta da Regaleria is breathtaking combination of Moorish, Egyptian, and Gothic design. It’s also Sintra’s most mysterious monument. While it was built in the early 1900’s by a Portuguese tycoon, no one is exactly certain what took place here.
If you’re looking for a scenic beach easily accessible from the Old Town, Sveti Javoc Beach is my personal favorite. It has one of the most breathtaking views in the entire Dubrovnik area, and unlike Banje, it’s usually less crowded.
The Patterns of Cyprus
Beautiful and quiet sunrise at the beach in Larnaca, Cyprus. Perfect sand patterns as foreground leading the eye to the silhouette of the pier and some people and boats further away.
Low shooting point to get more unusual visual effect
Enjoy it!

St Pauls's bay is one of the best spots on Rhodes island in Greece. You can find it right behind the picturesque village of Lindos and it was included among the 25 best beaches in Europe (13th place) and among the 10 best beaches in Greece (4th place) at the 2015 Trip Advisor's list! You can understand that with all this publicity you won't be alone when you visit it but it sure worth it!
