Hello fellow Steemians!

Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday - where the winner of the weekly round will be able to participate for the total of 200 SBD! Today, you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to the continent of Australia. I am also adding New Zealand to the same challenge as there were some concerns from other Steemians as to which continent NZ belongs to.

See the winner of the last week´s Australian Monday @stabilowl with the following entry:

Every year in June, Sydney lights up during the Vivid Sydney festival, where visual arts and lights shows covers the many buildings and landmarks around Sydney Harbour. This year, I am especially impressed with the strobe light show at Circular Quay, where rays of blue lights emits from the top of buildings as well as the Harbour Bridge lighting up the sky.

Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.

Please see the winner of Asian Sunday and give him your support if you like his image to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for him by upvoting his winner announcement post below:

Oriental Bay, Wellington. A line of blue boat sheds lies along the bay, inches to the water, so that boats can easily get into the water. Each of these is a working workshop. The owners would go in there, polish their boat, and take it out for a ride. For travellers, it's just amazing to see a line of blue looking quite striking from afar.

Thank you so much for your participation. Have a great day. Tomas

Thanks Tomas!

Waking up very earlier while the weather still cool to be right at the top of Kings park from which the view over Perth is just magnificent.

It look like the sky is burning under the pink - orange coloured flames announcing another hot day.

Location: Perth, Australia.

My dear Perth! I miss you.

Thanks for sharing!

You are most welcome! I love Perth so much too, it is the best city I have lived in while in Australia. Far from everything else but well located.

Seafarers Bridge in Melbourne

Melbourne features some of Australias most stunning architecture. The Seafarers Bridge that spans over the Yarra rive is no exception. Could there be any more classy way of connecting Docklands and South Wharf?

I have also posted this photo on my blog.

Yes indeed. It is so much fun to photograph this city!

"Squeaky Beach"
Wilsons Promontory National Park is located in the south of Australia. A few hours from Melbourne, Victoria, one has to leave to Highway to visit this remarkable place. We went for only 2 days and explored a few Beaches, some coast to coast tracks and watched thousands of emus, kangaroos and birds inhabiting this paradise. This particular shot was taken at "squeaky beach"- a white and sandy beach that literally squeaks with every step. We parked the van and spent the night at this stunning place.

Australia is on my list of places to visit. Looking at all those amazing pics is just rising my expectations.

It will take some time to get from one pretty place to another but worth the roadtrip!

These Rainbow Lorikeets were hiding from the rain under the roof of our Terrace while we were Housesitting in Coffs Harbour on the eastcoast. Beautiful birds which can be really annoying due to the noise to make.

I can imagine the noise since my neighbor has one parrot in the garden..... So annoying!! They look beautiful though:)....

I took this photo of the Storey Bridge in Brisbane while walking back from work along the riverwalk. I was headed to my friend's place for a night of wine, cheese and tunes. The bridge is always lit up with different colours and on this evening I found the green extremely mesmerising.

What a great image. I love the green reflection of the colored bridge in the water. Thank you for sharing with everyone. Tomas

Thank you :)

russell falls, Tasmania.

Just 1 hour drive from Hobart, you will find the Russell falls, arguably Tasmania's most beautiful and photographed waterfall.
It is easy to get. Just a 20 minutes return walk through the lovely rainforest. How wonderful!

Stunning place. We should have spent more time

That is some stunning architecture created by nature. What a great place.

The great challenge

The opera house seems so beautiful each time I visit the place, surely one of the gems here in Australia indeed.
