Hello fellow Steemians!

I am starting the week #94 of my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge and we are back to the continent of Asia.

If you like to participate, place your personal image from your travels in Asia in the comment section below with a short 30 to 50 word description. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total. So far I have given out thousands of dollars in upvotes and hundreds of SBD in rewards.

After today´s Asian photo contest, the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge will be followed as per below rotation and then starting again with Asia on next Sunday.

• Monday: Australia and New Zealand
• Tuseday: Antarctica + the world’s oceans
• Wednesday: Africa

• Saturday: South America

See the winner of the last week´s Asian Sunday @justdentist with the following entry:

Good morning Guilin. Guilin and the surrounding area was the highlight of our china vacation. The landscape is so unique with the hills all over the place and the rivers running through. The morning hike was steep but short and this view was the perfect prize:)

Concubine Lane is in the old town of Ipoh, Malaysia. Legend has it that concubines of some wealthy men lived here. This lane has been transformed into a lively place full of shops selling crafts, snacks and drinks. I took this picture with my phone when being caught in a tropical shower there.

Located on the holy mountain Huashan in the chinese province Shaanxi you can find this beautiful Chess Pavillion. Can't imagine a more inspiring place to play a chess match. To reach this pavillion you have to climb a few meters.

This is the Nanga Parbat mountain located in the northern areas of Pakistan, also known as the killer mountain it is the deadliest to hike on. Took the picture from Fairy meadows another beautiful place from where you can hike to the mountains base camp.

This is a picture of the beautiful Verde Safari Beach near El Nido on Palawan Island in the Philippines. The best thing about visiting this beach was that we had it all for ourselves. Nobody was far away.

Petra, Jordan from the Siq

When approaching Jordan's most famous ancient city, the walk leads through the narrow canyon known as the Siq, the same way that caravans of traders have been travelling on for centuries. The treasury is the first building that can be spotted from the Siq and the most famous building of Petra, but the city of stone has so much more to offer.

Good afternoon everyone!
My picture today is the beautiful view of Jizan KSA. I went to the city and
every place I passed, I took a picture. It is a heritage house and no people allowed to stay, except the gardener. I love the old structure of this building. The rock formation outside with the palm trees adding more attraction most especially at night.

Photo shot during a meeting at Lombok Island, around Bali, with seaweed fishermen. A kind of fishing which needs works of men and women. This culture is more and more common around the world.

Dubai in Blue

Quite amazing and warm evening in Dubai. Guess for local citizens it was even pretty cold as for February :D Anyway, overall sunny day ended with some decent clouds coming in and making all the views a bit more interesting...
Shot done with wide angle lens using some reflecting steel surface to get with almost perfect and colorful reflection. And just to mention that some 100 meters to the right was famous Burj Khalifa...

Enjoy the scenery!

Saw these packets of fermented black bean on sale when I went to Chengdu in China some years ago. They are wrapped in some kind of leave which I imagine helps to preserve their flavour, not to mention its very environmentally friendly as well.

This is the beach in Ao Nang, Thailand. It is not for sure one of the beaches by which Thailand is so well known, but on this day the quietude of the sunset and the absence of tourists gave it a special charm.
