Hello fellow Steemians!

I am starting the week #118 of my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge and we are back to the continent of Asia.

If you like to participate, place your personal image from your travels in Asia in the comment section below with a short 30 to 50 word description. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 Steem in total. So far I have given out thousands of dollars in upvotes and hundreds of SBD in rewards.

After today´s Asian photo contest, the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge will be followed as per below rotation and then starting again with Asia on next Sunday.

• Monday: Australia and New Zealand
• Tuseday: Antarctica + the world’s oceans
• Wednesday: Africa
• Thursday: Europe
• Friday: North America
• Saturday: South America

See the winner of the last week´s Asian Sunday @travelshots with the following entry:

This photo spot at Business Bay offered me an amazing view of Burj Khalifa and Downtown Dubai. I really like the silky water surface in this picture and how the bridge forms a frame for the skyscrapers.

Wat Rong Khun in Chiang Rai, Thailand

Thailand has so many amazing temples, that often there is lack of funds to keep them in a good shape. This is why a local artist decided to acquire Wat Rong Khun and rebuild it from his own pocket. The site is now more of an art project than a temple and an entrance fee is imposed as well, but the "white temple" is well worth a visit on a trip to Northern Thailand.

I have also posted this photo on my blog.

River TungaBhadra is a Krishna basin river and flows throw the historic town Harihar. The speciality of the river in town Harihar is the historic Harihareshwara temple built in year 1280 (740 yrs old) on banks on Tunga Bhadra. The river also has Six bridges crossing in a distance of a mile.

Taken in the mountain area in central Taiwan. This area used to be a river bed thousands of years ago, and due to its soil structure it is now a well know grape production area. I took this photo as I went for a stroll in the morning on the way to breakfast.

I have posted about it here as well.

One of the great things of Asia for me, are the beaches with clear and warm water! Here, one of the beaches of Gili Air, with a view to Lombok. There were beautiful corals and a ton of marine life just a few meters offshore!

The district "Deira" has a completely different character than the hypermodern districts of Dubai. Here you can find many traditional souks, mosques, or taxi boats. On the roof of a parking garage I found this amazing hidden photo spot to enjoy the Arabian flair during sunset and blue hour.

Hand-painted ceramic chair and table found in Beijing, China. My favorite piece is the table, with all the details in the dragon. Would love to have one of this in my backyard. I am sure my tea would taste better seated at that table.

Yesterday i took a walk up the Rama VIII Bridge it's the 13th bridge along the Chao Phraya River and this was the view looking down the river to downtown of Bangkok city. The Chao Phraya is the major river in Thailand it runs the center of the country and ends up into the Gulf of Thailand.

Good morning @czechglobalhosts

Taken this sunset during my travel going to Jeddah Saidi Arabia. The perfect platue beyond the sea and the sunset give a perfect afternoon on our way. I was taking this while the ca was moving. How I wished to stop and take a picture of this beautiful scene I ever saw. Captured this using my mobile phone Huwaei Y9.

Thank you so much.
