Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe is one of the natural world wonders and also the world's biggest waterfall. I took this shot when it was only at 20% water flow, so you could just imagine it at 100% water flow. Such an amazing place to visit.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Australian Monday week #92 – winner announcement!

@jpphotography Australian Monday entry:

Sunset at Uluru (Ayers Rock). When I was travelling in Australia, I did not even plan on visiting Uluru. Why would anyone drive through the Outback for thousands of kilometres just to see a giant rock? But since my ride share from Cairns to Darwin wanted to see Uluru, I endet up there. I was not really expecting anything, but in fact, Uluru is so much more than just a "giant rock" and I had an incredible time in the national park!

Sometimes, the trip is the road itself, like this serpentine route on the way to Marrakech from Quarzazate in Morocco. Driving along these hairpin bends is not easy, but oh so exhilarating. :) You will be awarded with breathtaking views at every turn and ascent.

This photo was taken in the desert surrounding Hurghada when I was there in 2006.
After we visited the Bedouin village we stayed in the desert until sunset.
It's a different feeling to experience a sunset in a desert. For me it was the first time to be in the desert. The high temperatures and the changing colors gave an eerie feeling.

Madagascar is an island but stays an African country. Madagascar is certainly one of the regions of the world that has the best navigators of sailing canoes. While the world refuses to accept solutions to reduce polluting rejections, these men, still carry on their business of transporting goods to sail, to courage and in perfect modesty.

Thank you @czechglobalhosts for your contest !

Sahara Sand Patterns

The sand dunes of the Moroccan Sahara are incredible! The strong winds blowing across the dunes form ever-changing patterns in the orange sand that are as beautiful as they are fascinating.

Canyons of Mars

Yet coming back to our "Cruise over Nile" trip in Egypt, which was actually not only the Nile... So that was last day when we were returning by bus from Alexandria back to Hurghada, where all journey started
Ad we met this colorful sunset on the highway and this shot is actually done through the window of moving bus, so not bad at all, don't you think?

Enjoy the scenery :)

Seal Island in Cape Town South Africa, is absolutely jam packed with seals. After a rough and bumpy boat ride from False Bay we arrived to seal Island. Nearly every part of the island was covered in seals and they would climb over the top of each other to find the perfect sunbaking spot. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Cape Town.

Dahshur in Egypt is the site of the construction of the first two pyramids of Egypt. They served as a practice for the Great Pyramid of Giza.
The first, the oldest, is the rhomboid pyramid, which is considered a failure, but still stands.
The one we see here is the second one, the red pyramid. Its name comes from the material used to build it, the red limestone. It is considered a success and served has a model for Cheops.
