7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – African Wednesday week #86 – winner announcement!
Hello fellow Steemians!
It is my great pleasure to announce the winner of 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - African Wednesday. I would like to say huge thank you to all the participants for their great entries. The number of entries yesterday was very good with many high-quality images so it was extremely hard to decide on the winning one. I encourage you to check the entries as they really were all stunning.
You can see all entries and participants in this post: 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - African Wednesday week #86 - the absolute winner takes 200 SBD!
Please give a huge shout out to the best ten competitors for taking part in the challenge and sharing their photos and experience with all of us here on Steemit:
@vcclothing @itchyfeetdonica @aleksandra.mart @axeman @karma-panorama
It would be great if you can visit their blogs and appreciate their awesome photography skills with some upvotes.
However, the winner is only one and that is for me picture posted by @vcclothing with the following entry:
The view from Table Mountain looking down on lions head mountain and out to the Atlantic ocean is an amazing sight to see when you are in Cape Town South Africa. Just remember to Bing a jacket with you if you visit in the afternoon, as the winds change very quickly and it gets cold fast.
What a great contribution from @vcclothing to the photo challenge! I have visited @vcclothing blog and upvoted his post called BJW DEATH MATCH. Japan's most entertaining wrestling show. @vcclothing amazing entry from Africa is qualifying for the weekly challenge where it will be competing against the previous and upcoming winners of the week:
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday week #86 - winner announcement!
@travelshots Asian Sunday entry:
"Thu Thiem Bridge" offers probably the best view of the city center of Saigon with the Saigon River in the foreground. Here you can admire beautiful sunsets as the sun disappears just behind the skyline. After dark the skyscrapers are reflected in the water, which can be used for impressive long exposures.
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Australian Monday week #86 – winner announcement!
@fotogruppemunich Australian Monday entry:
Since we spent a long time near Sydney, it was also possible for me to photograph the Opera House at night. There was no extra light show on this evening unfortunately. Nevertheless it was an experience for me to be at this place in the night.
@vinceboisgard Tuesday of Antarctica and World´s Oceans entry:
Last bit of land before the open waters. On the Northern Ireland coast, the storm is forming in a far distance and will soon hit the land. I stand on top of a cliff looking at these clouds building up thinking how quickly can the weather change. Location: Northern Ireland.
The winner of the weekly challenge will be selected by you based on the dollar value of this post and then entered to a monthly and possibly yearly challenge on the way to win the price of 200 SBD in total. You can give @vcclothing your support by upvoting this winner announcement post.
My next challenge is coming shortly: European Thursday. Get your pictures ready! :)
