Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - African Wednesday - where the winner of the weekly round will be able to participate for the total of 200 SBD!
Today, you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to the continent of Africa.

On a recent trip to Namibia we got to climb dune 45. Dune 45 is part of the world's largest sand dunes, located in the Sossusvlei desert. We climbed up it at sunrise, it was amazing climbing up through the morning fog, then to watch it all clear away and realised how high up we actually were.
Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.
Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.

Bangkok Skyline. This week I want to share a picture with you which I took roughly 24 hours ago on the KingTower in Bangkok during the sunset. It's an absolute stunning view point with a 360 view around Bangkok. Make sure to check it out when ever you are there.

To enjoy this great view of sydney you just have to go to the harbor bridge. I spent over an hour there to enjoy the view. next to i took some pictures for a time lapse. I exposed the picture for 6 seconds for this effect of the blurred ships.

The Swan. Pretty stunning colorful and calm sunset at Curonian Spit, Lithuania. And wouldn't be so much interesting without the lonely swan slowly approaching to my shooting position :) Quite a perfect model for the set. Enjoy it!

Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut
Not the frontal view of this amazing temple located at Luxor, Egypt, but the right wing. Still the scenery is pretty amazing with quite high mountains at the background.
The temple was actually build inside the mountain and it definitely too a lot of efforts those ancient times

It's been a while, but I finally have some new photos. Here is one, which I took last month while travelling into the Erg Chigaga in Morocco. Erg means "Sea of Sand", which is also the title of this photo here. Standing on one of the highest dunes in the Erg I could see for miles in every direction.
The red pyramid, located in Dahshur, whose name is inspired by the hue of its current facing, is the third largest pyramid of Egypt. You can see its size by comparing the height of the pyramid with those of the people in the photo.
