See the winner of the last week´s African Wednesday @axeman with the following entry:

The Al-Haramlik Palace. The Al-Haramlik Palace, at the Montaza Palace complex in the Al-Montaza royal gardens in Alexandria, Egypt. Perfect place to get some rest even from the hot Egyptian sun. Shot in the morning while traveling with tourists bus, so the sun was just rising behind the palace. Enjoy the scenery!

Wahiba Sands, Oman. Today I want to share with you a picture I took a few weeks ago on my travel around Oman. It shows the sunset in an absolut incredible landscape. Sitting on a dune and watching the sun go down is something very special and I only can recommend it to you to try it out when ever you got the chance to.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Tuesday of Antarctica and World´s Oceans week #70 – winner announcement!

@jpphotography Tuesday of Antarctica and World´s Oceans entry:

Monkey Island, Vietnam. When I visited Ha Long Bay, I feared hords of tourists and cruise ships, but I was positively surprised: Apart from a few great backpackers in the hostel, there were few tourists around and I had a great time on Cat Ba Island and Ha Long Bay.

The Skies Phantasmagoria

And to continue Egypt series - another shot from upper deck of cruise ship while travelling up the Nile from Luxor to Aswan. Quite crazy phantasmagorical clouds formations just on a perfect colorful sunset. Very warm winter and only good memories from the trip

Enjoy the scenery :)

Victoria Falls Zimbabwe

I got to check out Victoria Falls the other week and even though there was only 20% of water flowing the sound and spray of the falls was amazing to see! I would love to see the falls at 100% it would be so crazy!

Hassan II Mosqueis a mosque located in Casablanca (Morocco). Built partly on the sea, it is a religious and cultural complex, built on nine hectares. The prayer hall can accommodate 25,000 faithful. The Hassan II mosque is one of the largest mosques in the world.

The construction of the mosque began in 1986 and was completed in 1993. This was four years over the due date, which was meant to be in 1989 on King Hassan II’s 60th birthday.

There are many mosques in Morocco most of which are closed off to people who are not of the Muslim faith. The Hassan II Mosque differs in that way, allowing visitors of all faiths the opportunity to come in and view the inside of the building.
