Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @photovisions:

For today I pick one more shot from amazing Rock City (Teplické skály) - this unique karst forms are typical for norhtern part of Czech Republic, where the rocks are build mostly from sedimentary rocks.

Did you know that the statues at the Charles Bridge are not originals? They are copies to prevent tourists destroying them. And did you know that you can see the originals? They are stored at a dungeon at Vysehrad, that is accessible on a guided tour. This is what it looks like.

Wow! I had no idea! What a great information to share with everyone! Worth making it to the top post.

Prague is a so interesting and beautiful city that you can find worth taking photos in almost every corner of the city. While I was waking there a find this interesting corner with these buildings. So I got a nice image of this corner. It seems that these buildings date from late XIX century.

Another beautiful view of Prague opens from the park Letenské sady (Air Gardens). It was very disappointing that the day was overcast and the photo does not convey the beauty of Prague, the Vltava River and Prague bridges.

For today's post I have prepared a photo taken in February at Praděd. Praděd is not a high mountain, yet it is very important for the Czech Republic. It is bound by legend about the founding of Bohemia by forefather Čech.

Great pic! Thanky you for sharing!

View of the river Vltava and back the "Staroměstská vodárna" ideal area to make photographs of the Charles bridge, next there is a restaurant that can take a coffee with the beautiful view of the bridge especially at night. Shot taken from Legions' Bridge.

The golden hour was not in vain got its name.
Light makes photos different. Removes unnecessary details, gives a new look. You can play a little settings of the camera and put in a single row completely different objects. Although most of all at this time i want to sit somewhere and calmly observe the beauty that is happening. For me, this is often a big dilemma.
Shoot or not to shoot?

Great click for sure:)....

This one is also from Adrspach (Teplicke Skaly). We went there for a weekend 2 years ago and I really got my batteries charged that weekend. I like the pic because there's something kind of mystical about it I feel. It feels as if some fairy would lure me deper into the forest :D With that little fog and the sunlight reflections on the rocks...Used to have it on my phone as a wallpaper during some time.

Thanks ever so much for your fabulous contribution to the contest. Tomas

To me, the measure of a city lies not only in the abundance or quality of large monuments and concert halls, but in the details that oftentimes do not make it onto the pages of a travel guide. Case in point, this ornate street light in front of the Archbishop’s Palace on Hradčanské Square by Prague Castle. If you look closely, you will see dragons on top of the brackets supporting each lamp.

The world's most beautiful library is in Prague, for sure. The Strahov library is home to more than 20 000 books and showcases beautiful Baroque architecture. It is a well worth tourist attraction and is located in a very beautiful part of Prague. Greenery and panoramic views, beautiful.

It sure is beautiful! Thank you so much for your entry. Tomas
