Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @tmayd:

Photography can be quite a blood sport, especially when you are trying to get front row viewing of the changing of the guard at the Prague Castle. Throngs of tourists, cell phones and cameras in hand, were jockeying for position and giving no quarter. The survival of the fittest in action! With some clever maneuvering and a stroke of luck, I ended up being close enough to reach between and beyond legs and arms and purses though the railings with my camera.

This is Perstejn Castle. It is a castle on a rock above the village of Nedvědice and the rivers Svratka and Nedvědička, some 40 kilometres northwest of Brno, in the South Moravian Region, Czech Republic. As you can see it is quite beautiful and because of that it has been used in many movies - both Czech and international.

Pernstejn Castle is quite significant in the Czech history and does not make it to the challenge very frequently which makes it a perfect entry to feature in today´s edition. Thank you so much for sharing! Tomas

This is the most popular and biggest fair in Prague, which takes places every year in Holešovice and is the first spring fair in Europe. It is extremely popular among the locals. The image was taken in March 2015.

I find very interesting the different Gothic towers in Prague. They are very characteristic of this beautiful city. In the photo can be seen the Powder Tower, it is one of the original gates of the city and it separates the old town from the new town.It dates back from the XV century. Its name is due to the fact that it was used to store gunpowder.

Fabulous entry, thank you so much for your participation. Tomas

The Church of St. Nicholas is the main Czech Hussite church. It is located in the Old Town Square. The first construction on this site began as far back as the 13th century, and ended with reconstruction in 1735. The temple is built in the Baroque style. The project was led by the architect Kilian Ignaz Dinzenhofer.

This is a capture from a basketball game between USK Prague and BK Opava held in the Folimanka Hall. Located just below the infamous Nusle Bridge, the Folimanka Hall is one of the oldest functional multi-purpose halls in the country. Except for the basketball clubs, it is home to many other athletic clubs from Prague.

For today's post I have prepared a photo from Cheb. Cheb is a town located 40 km southwest of Karlovy Vary. The center of Cheb is exceptionally well preserved and there are many beautiful buildings. These originally Gothic houses are located on King George Square of Poděbrady.

I didn´t know Cheb was this beautiful! Thank you for sharing. Tomas

Macha Lake is a lake in northern Bohemia, which would be based on a statement by Charles IV. Its area is 284 hectares and currently serves mainly for recreation.

Beautiful and majestic Charles Bridge. Just in these parts of the city most of the sights of Prague are concentrated, that's why there is no possibility to pass along the Charles bridge from tourists. The bridge is being used since 1380. To be honest, I can not believe it. The bridge looks very beautiful and modern, only beautiful statues that have darkened from time say that they stood there for several centuries. Each sculptural group has its own history.

For today’s entry I have picture of Palava Hills and castle Devicky. It was taken early in the morning, that is why colors are so fresh. It was amazing to watch night turning into a day. It was perfect moment for a glass of wine and enjoying the view ;-)

The Charles Bridge is very few times uncrowded. It's one of the most famous place to visit in Prague. The amazing statues, water views, and the architectural elements attract anyone who visits Prague.
