Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @gmt117:

When you visit the Czech Republic, you might want to visit some caves. There's many beautiful caves that have guided tours. The photo below is from Macocha. The Macocha Abyss, also known as the Macocha Gorge, is a sinkhole in the Moravian Karst cave system of the Czech Republic located north of the city of Brno, near the town of Blansko. You can take a guided tour of the caves. Part of the caves is actually under water, so half the tour is walking and the other half is on a small boat. Very cool!

This beautiful view was taken from the restaurant Sluneční terasa T-Anker, a restaurant with a beautiful terrace where you can see a splendid view of the Old Town of Prague in Czech Republic, an excellent place to share excellent experiences with friends and family.

Truly stunning views! I should take my date there next time in Prague:)....

Sure you will love it and your date too :D

I love when there is water in the city. Not so important is the river, the lake or the sea. In good weather, the water surface becomes a work of art. It reflects in itself houses and trees, the sky and people. And still there are always birds and other living things. This is exactly better than concrete highways.

Stunning image! Thanks ever so much for your participation. Tomas

In Prague there is an eclectic combination of different architectonic styles. This can be seen very well in this photo. In the foreground there are buildings of Neo-Classical and Borroque styles and in the background there is the Dancing House a famous construction of the 90’s (XX century) in post-modern style. The (modern) tram in the photo give a balance of the composition of the image.

Walking along Karlovy Vary I noticed that there is a very interesting architecture of houses, hotels. There are no houses that are similar to each other. All of them are built in different styles. There are a few examples in this photo.

This is my entry for Tomas contest today. I show you a Picture from the Andel metrostation at Prague City. Our Hotel was in the near of this station and i really liked that area, because there were not so many people around there :) So it was more quite and not so busy as in the citycentre...

Old Town Square ("Staromestske Namesti" in Czech) with its origins in the 12th century,is one of the most beautiful historical sights in Europe. There beat the true heart of Prague .
It is located between Charles Bridge and the Wenceslas Square.

Today, I am sharing a photo of Charles Bridge. What you can see is a sign that is on the wall of the Charles Bridge. The sign says Karluv Most - a Czech name of the bridge. See full size on my Flickr

One thing we enjoy about Prague - it is endlessly romantic. The cobblestone streets and the Gothic architecture and the maze-like basements. Prague is so unique and surprises us with something new every single time.

Prague sure is a very romantic place:).... Thank you for your entry. Tomas

The famous Czech spa Karlovy Vary (or else it was called Carlsbad) was sheltered in a picturesque place - in Bohemia, 120 km from Prague, near the border with Germany, in a valley surrounded by mountains, overgrown with forests, on the bank of the Tepla river.
The city is quite ancient, more than six hundred years ago, King Charles the Fourth, hunting from those places, accidentally wandered into the valley and was amazed by its beauty and hot mineral springs that were hitting the ground. Then he ordered to establish a settlement on this place, which eventually turned into the most popular resort, thanks to a pleasant climate and amazing healing water
