Saturday photo sharing challenge - Prague/Czech Republic
Hello friends,
A few weeks back I started a photo sharing challenge where I ask you fellow steemians to participate in by sharing your personal photos that you took from your visit to Prague or any other fascinating location in the Czech Republic. I am nicely surprised it is gaining popularity among some of you and I am getting more and more pictures on daily basis. It is not only a great way to motivate and inspire others but also for you to earn a decent upvote as I do upvote your entries for the challenge. The only condition is that they are your personal pictures from the Czech Republic and you add a short description or the story.

So, we are on the Charles Bridge, which is the symbol of Prague. Charles IV, King of the Czech Republic laid the first stone in it. The construction of the bridge took more than a hundred years. The bridge not only looks very majestic, it is also very strong. After the flood of 2002, when many buildings in Prague were damaged, it was this bridge that remained unscathed.

Hi Tomas. It is also an awesome sunny day here in Stellenbosch and I went for a mountain run this morning. Here is a picture of us exploring the beautiful mountains of Czech Republic. Behind us is one of the mountain huts.

Svaty Jan Pod Skalou is one of my favorite places. It's basically a pub and a monastery (which was a prison during communism). There is a spring with magical healing water there and if you hike to the top of the cliff overlooking the village the view is amazing.
