Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @phortun:

Beautiful winter sunset over Komarov, a suburban part of the Silesian city of Opava. The church in the background is the St. Procopius Church, the dominant architectural feature of the neighborhood.

I rewarded @phortun entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit his blog and check out some of his other entries.

Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!

Photo of the Church of our Lady before Týn, with its nice and characteristic gothic towers. The photo was taken from the Old Town Square, depicting buildings with very different architectonic styles. The sepia tone of the image, give an retro mood.

Thanks for the feature Tomas! :) Today, I am coming with something more classic - view of the Prague Castle captured from the Charles Bridge. According to the Guinness Book of Records, the Prague Castle is the largest ancient castle in the world, occupying an area of almost 70,000 square metres (750,000 square feet).

Hi Tomas, for todays contest I chose a modern bridge over the river Svratka in Zidlochovice. This little town (20 km south from Brno) was known for its sugar factory using progressive methods (you can see it in background) and a chateau with a deer park. In 90's there were splitting up negotiations between Czech and Slovak delegation.

The Powder Tower ... The fortifications of the Old Town of Prague ended here. Where you see a sculpture (the roof of the Czech National Bank), the fortification of the New Town of Prague began. Several times in history, both cities have fought against each other. The Middle Ages was a rough time
