The Mountains of Tecate Pueblo Mágico

Tecate is a small city in Baja California, Mexico. It is on the border with Tecate, California, United States in the San Diego–Tijuana metropolitan area. There is a small port of entry between the sister cities that serves as a calmer alternative to the bustling border of Tijuana.

Tecate is best known outside of metropolitan San Diego–Tijuana for Tecate beer, one of the most popular beers in Mexico.

I have lived in Tecate for three months with a friends family. There is not much to do. I have to say climbing the mountains was my favourite. Even though I am a little bit afraid of 1000 red ants running in one spot.
