My Trip to Australia – Southern Queensland ( Part - 2 )
As I promised in my first post in https://steemit.com/travel/@cutirenskei/my-trip-to-australia-brisbane-queensland-part-1 I’ll take you to another place I’ve been to Australia.
But before taking you to another state I’ll take you first to other parts of Queensland that were known as tourist spot were many vacationers/ traveler usually go.
Toowoomba
Toowoomba is a city in the Darling Downs region of southern Queensland, Australia. It is located 125 km (78 mi) west of Queensland's capital city Brisbane by road. It is known for its Flower festival on the spring season. So I would recommend to you to go there on spring season like what I did last time.
There is a stair provided for visitors who want to see the circular center of the park as you can see here.
Variety of beautiful flowers you can see in this park. I’ll show you some of them.
And of course, before I leave I need to go through this...
Not far from there is the Japanese Garden.
Japanese Garden
This garden represents the best of traditional Japanese Garden. Many people go there especially Asian people.
I saw many Japanese people there and they’re very friendly. That’s why I tried to take a photo of myself doing the Japanese common greetings.
Behind me is one of the well-known cherry blossom or “sakura”.
Over the lake is the typical Japanese bridge as you can see here.
And some small falls too but my sister in law didn’t make it to take it with me in the photo because of many tourists in that area so I just showed it to you in sign language on my right hand!
There are many different flowers too in this garden as you can see here in my photos.
And of course, me and my niece need to take some remembrance photo from this Japanese garden.
Same with my brother’s family!!
Visiting this garden makes me feel I’m in Japan. But hoping to go there one day for real, ha ha ha!
Burleigh Heads, Queensland
Burleigh Heads is a suburb in the City of Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. We do mini-hiking there to get to the Burleigh Heads Outlook. It takes an hour to get to the top as you can see in this photo.
I love doing hiking, especially in winter season not only to do work out but also to get sweats to make our body feel warm and to burn fats or calories ha ha ha! Going down you can see big rocks on the seashore as you can see in this photo.
I hope you had fun looking at my photos and reading my story here! My next post will be in another state of Australia so until next time!
Note: All photos are mine
