That is some awfully beautiful countryside. I hear the country is under a massive drought. Is that true, @lizelle? Face any troubles with that while you were there?
Hi @ctbutters, nice meeting you! The drought is mainly in the Western Cape, really really bad there with hectic water restrictions. We live in Kwazulu Natal and have had fair rainfalls as can be seen from the vegetation, but not enough in the catchment areas. The dams here are still at acceptable levels, unlike Cape Town. However, we may be faced with a similar water problem in the future. Hopefully the powers that be get their act together and plan for that.
