Kanyakumari Sunset Point (Tamil Nadu, India) a summary to my tour!!

Cape Comorin also known as Kanyakumari (Tamil Nadu , India) which is situated at the southern most point of India.

Kanyakumari is situated at the southern most tip of Cardamom hills, which is a part of the western ghats and due to its beauty of hills ,sunsets, temples and architecture. It attracts many tourists from around the world to visit and enjoy the agro climatic conditions . It has been a centre for art and religion since centuries. Kanyakumari lies within the confluence of the eastern coastal plains and the western coastal plains.

For the journey to Kanyakumari i booked a cab from Chennai to visit Pondicherry ,Madurai,Kovalam and many other small towns to capture the architectural design and to learn more about the Indian religious history which we used to learn in school books since childhood.

Means of transportation through air , bus and rail is easily available and booking a cab and touring the cities one by one is which i will prefer because it is not going to make a hole in my pocket. People are nice and friendly they help the tourists with their problems and guide them the proper way for each and every situation.

local people, tourists really enjoy their evening while seeing the sun go down the ocean.
during the high tides it is risky going near the red flag zoned marked by the helpers of the beach.
i planned 2 day stay at Kanyakumari but ended up making it into a 3 day stay and every evening i spent listening to the sea and watching it gulp down the sun.
