Travel with me - Noboribetsu (Hell Valley) - Japan
Noboribetsu is home to Hokkaido's most famous luxury hot spring resorts. Because of all the hot springs the area is known as "Hell Valley", but it feels more like Heaven.
I stayed at the highly rated hotel - Dai-ichi Takimotokan. It came with an amazing dinner and breakfast buffet. It was right beside the main hot spring mountain where you could view all the gas openings.
The next morning I took a stroll next to Oyunuma river. Oyumuna river is a hotspring run off that is filled with beautiful waterfalls. Because the water is hot the steam creates a hypnotizing mist.
As you can see there are plenty of photo opportunities.
Towards the end of the trail is a natural footbath that you can walk around or soak your feet in.

Such a beautiful place! Reminds me of some of the hotsprings in Colorado, west of the Rockies.
I have never been. I will have to check it out!
