A Boeing 727 Hotel Room - Costa Rica
Want to experience something different on your next holiday? The Hotel Costa Verde is in the heart of the Manuel Antonia National park and overlook the Pacific Ocean is your answer.
The inspiration came when the developers read an article in the Forbes magazine about refurbished airplanes.
This vintage 1965 old boeing 727 belonged to Avianca Airline and South African Air. It is mounted on a 50-foot pedestal looking out over the Pacific ocean and National park.
A spiral staircase will lead you to your sweet where you can enjoy the luxury of two bedrooms each with a private bathroom, living room, dining room with a kitchenette and a cockpit that serves as a viewing area over the ocean and the jungle filled with monkeys, sloths, toucans and many more exquisite animals.
It has a beautiful deck where you can watch the sunrise while having breakfast or sipping a cocktail watching the sunset.
They used Costa Rican Teak to outfit the entire cabin and hand carved furniture from Indonesia to finish off the natural look.
It will cost you from $260 per day in the Promo season and up to $750 per day during the Easter season.
Very amazing design and architecture. Must be some reason why during Easter period, it's much more expensive to stay there.
Thanks for pointing that out ace108. I was quite surprised too when I saw that Easter was more expensive than Christmas. It is due to the festivity of Semana Santa, they have parades, mini festivals and religious processions that takes place in every city which makes it so popular and expensive over the Easter time period.
