The Road Never Ends
Me and Rain Drop Hound Dog are reluctantly headed back home to North Carolina. I have been experiencing more and more pain in my right hip for a while now. What started as an occasional ache has increased to the consistent throbbing and sharp painful aggravating problem that I fear could be the end of this great adventure.
We are in a small town in Georgia now and slowly but surely going north to Greensboro North Carolina to see a doctor. I don't want to stop traveling but I will know more about my hiking future after a visit with a medical professional. If I need a hip replacement I will definitely be left with no choice for at least time to recuperate. I will not give up easily and make no mistake... I will travel again one day even if I am behind the wheel of a vehicle that can accommodate my needs for the open road.
June of this year will make five years of me and Rain hiking trails, coastlines and the highways that have taken us both to our happy life of freedom adventure. The past five years have without any doubt have been the greatest time of my life. We met so many wonderful people and we seen things and places that makes us wealthy in the ways of memories that no amount of money or possessions could ever match up to.
Along the way I have been blessed by the many people who have contributed to this amazing journey in so many ways and these friends and sponsors are still standing with us throughout this time of despair. I am so grateful to have each one of them. Our experiences in this journey has made us feel an absolute joy that would be impossible to achieve if it wasn't for the support of others who helped with almost anything we needed all of these years.
I want to make it clear that I am not quitting or giving up on my dream of being a traveler and writing about all of the sites and fun this life of rambling has to offer. If I can walk and carry my backpack when the doctor is finished fixing this problem I will not waste a second to get back to the trail. If I become unable to hike in the manner in which I have been for all of these years then you will be reading about my experiences from some kind of vehicle that might be our home as well as means of getting from her to there.
There are still a lot of fascinating places in the world that I will keep working hard to get to and see with my loyal best friend by my side. Rain Drop Hound Dog is not any where near being done with these excursions and the great surprises that await us and I cannot let her down.

As always I have no clue what tomorrow has in store for us and I believe that is the funniest part of how I live. Everything happens for a reason I think and I love every moment of my life. I really don't make plans.... not in the way most people do anyway but I am certain that I am going to see a doctor very soon. I will keep my readers updated and informed about the situation and what I have to do as everything unfolds and comes clear. The world has so much more to show me... and I will share it with all of you with pleasure.
Thank you all that have taken time to read. I will post our donation link below and thank everyone for the support we appreciate all of you so very much.
