Before we go to New Mexico...

We still have options for staying on the coastline of Texas and keeping our feet in the sand for a few more days. This way it will be a little bit warmer on the way to the Continental Divide Trail.

We will take a nice slow hike to South Padre Island and enjoy more beaches and more sunshine.

We have been very lucky to get mostly good and even great weather for the best part of our journey along the Texas coast and we have not had to endure a lot of rain or storms. There has been a few windy nights that gets sand on and in about everything, but I don't care.

I have been able to get many great pictures from my travels the past two years, but I am looking forward to seeing what I can get from New Mexico and the upcoming adventure.
