Statue of Liberty in New York

 It doesn’t matter if you are an American or a resident of another country, if you ask what is the main symbol of the USA, many will answer: the Statue of Liberty. If you watch US films, you will see this statue in almost everyone, almost all the tourists who have been here go home with a souvenir figurine.

Very few people know what the full name of this statue, if you write a quote, it sounds like this "freedom that illuminates the world." This statue, measuring 45 meters, shows the attitude of Americans towards freedom in their country.

The statue consists of a steel frame that weighs as much as 124 tons.

Inside the statue there are elevations, each tourist will be able to move up the statue without obstacles.

From the bottom to the very top there are 353 steps. On the observation deck there are 24 windows from which tourists can see the steam to New York.

The statue consists of twenty seven thousand tons of cement! In order to get to the top, you need to go through 191 steps. Inside the statue there is a museum in which there are many interesting exhibits.Everyone can visit it, however, it can only be reached by elevator.

The statue was subjected to restoration many times, lighting systems were also added, at the moment the statue has a laser night illumination.

Each year, the statue is visited by more than 3.9 million tourists. Entrance to the steam is free, but you can only get to it by ferry, and you will also have to go through the berth inspection.
