Trip to the Netherlands part 1: Rotterdam #Travelblog
Hi guys, as I live in Luxembourg we are quite close to the Netherlands (2h drive to Maastricht) and so we're going quite often.
My favourite city is definitely Rotterdam because of the constant art you encounter during your visit.
You don't even need to search for it.
Art will be everywhere you go, from the amazing Architecture, to the great Street Art and just all the cute little shops and cafés, designed and created to get your attention (but in a good way).
Second, what I really like about Rotterdam, is that the city has this student status, what makes everything so young and fresh. It just gets this modern look which is quite outstanding if you compare to other cities in Holland.
Most of the time, we just park the car at our hotel during our stay and visit places with the public transport (which is generally VERY good in NL, offering buses, metro and tram) or we just rent a bike in summer.
And if you're planning on going to Rotterdam, take a look at the nhow Hotel ! My boyfriend and I stay there quite often. The building itself is one of the biggest attractions in the city, the views you get are just lovely and the buffet in the morning is great! So make sure to check this one out!
But the main reason I really love Holland is their simple mentality! This country just seems so peaceful and everything is so cute and colourful. Everybody is kind and the natives have this really healthy lifestyle that I admire. Lots of sports, not many cars, BIO everywhere you go. This place is simply so simple and yet so completed and highly developed.
I hope you enjoyed my post, if so, make sure to SUPPORT!

And don't forget to HAVE A NICE DAY AND SMILE A LITTLE MORE! :)
BE HAPPY,
Peace out.

Awesome! I need to visit Europe someday. And definitely Holland!
It's cold here so be prepared! (snowing atm in Luxembourg) But definitely a must see! Every country has its own individuality and mentality however you can see the red file linking every country to one another :)
Definitely. :) It is 80 degrees here right now in Phoenix, AZ. Kinda wish we had a normal winter sometimes.
