Dreams Do Come True

in #travel5 years ago

Here is an image of beautiful possibilities.

I've read a lot of articles online about becoming happy, motivated, inspired, etc. Most if not all, say, DETACH FROM SOCIAL MEDIA! Yes, you've read it right! If you want to be truly happy, you gotta turn off all that loud notification bells coming from your Facebook and Instagram accounts.

They say, social media makes you feel miserable and bad about yourself. Yes. Have you seen your recent ex-boyfriend's post having his first date with his new girlfriend and yet you're still there stalking his feed wishing he will come back to marry you soon? Aw. That hurts. Feeling jealous of your friend's post on a bikini having a beach-perfect body and smooth, pretty, and light skin tone? Oh no. Have you also seen your elementary classmate's post about earning their huge commissions from a high-paying job and yet you're still there back in the province still striving to make it til your graduation day? What! Or have seen celebrities and friends posting about their dreams coming true when they finally got to see the Eiffel Tower?! No way!

Yes way. In someway, some of us, sometimes feel bad about ourselves because of others' successes. It is because we sometimes feel that our comfort zone (though not comfortable at all😅) is just seeing others' posts of success and happiness on social media. We feel that we can't make more of what we usually do. That's why successful people really do believe in social media disconnection as not everything are being posted here. Nobody wants to post their ugly leg stretch marks and pimply skin, right?

But, hey, you can definitely turn it all around and make all the people's posts of success and happiness to your advantage.

Take my case as an example. I've been following @theoliviajordan on social media since 2015 because she's a woman of determination, confidence and self-love, full of positive vibes and an advocate for woman empowerment. Her posts have been helping me a lot in gaining more confidence in myself and in my dreams. As you can notice, she can be happy even with a little thing and a tiny accomplishment.😊 Isn't she lovely?

Happiness is still a choice. You can stay logged in at all times on all your social media accounts feeling happy or feeling sad. It's all up to you. It's all up to who you follow. It's all up to what you focus on. So unfollow pages (and even friends!) that just don't add value to you. You can eliminate those by evaluating each of them - will their posts add value (happiness, inspiration, information) to you? If not, then might be right to cut connection.

I am absolutely not an expert but this is what I do. As an advocate for peace and harmony, I'll keep on spreading positivity and hope to everyone by keeping my feed positive and inspiring because I want to help young girls think happy and inspired instead of being envious on social media.

Finally, through this evolving digital world, I was inspired and got driven to chase my wildest dreams. @angelydub is one of the very few that have helped push me to travel while I still can and am able.💕 Thank you with all my heart for the inspiration to travel with purpose and dream with no limits!

Go make your dreams come true too! Be cheering on always!♥️LRM_EXPORT_213455151972217_20190531_182414873.jpegLRM_EXPORT_213556134227179_20190531_182555856.jpeg
