@monika-homa Yes, I do like to make it spicy with various spices like Onion, green chilly, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, black pepper, asafoetida and also red chilly powder if spicier needed. And yes of course salt to taste. There is one Garam Masala powder available in any Indian store which is a mix of many spices used in various Indian recipes. It can be added to give it a different taste.
