Bodhi tree is a Banyan Tree under which Buddha attained enlightenment.
Present tree is not the original tree, it was cut down initially as a conspiracy. Every time the tree was destroyed, a new tree was planted at the same place.
During my visit to Gaya city in Bihar state of India I captured this photographs of Buddhist monks.
