So we took this trip  to yankari game reserved in bauchi state.

The trip  was quite long,  around 7 hours total. There were two gates at Yankari, the first gate was close to bauchi main town. The trip from the first to the second gate is restricted to speed limit of 80kmph because of the animals that may be crossing so you will not accidentally hit any one of them.

Once you arrive, the atmosphere is beautiful and sort of like a little town with baboons parading the roads like thugs.  The evening we arrived we went for the Wikki springs which was enjoyable and then we went for dinner, but the restaurant needs a lot of improvement as they will always only serve two dishes which are semo and soup/rice and salad (Jolof or white) with chicken or beef.

we took the luxury double and it was a nice place for the accommodation.  The following day we went on the safari which was also a nice experience,  we saw hippos, Water bucks, Squirrels and a lot of other animals.

we really have a good time.
