This is a cemetery they are very colorful there is hardly any space now so most people are cremated now and put into drawers underneath churches, mostly priests do not get cremated having a pow wow next to the beach with a couple Aztec Indians and my brother @jumaro it was an incredible experience, we went under the earth for an hour with volcano rocks and you could barely breathe and you sweat alot it was for good spirits This is Francisco Montejo who founded my city of Merida in the 1500's this is the entrance to his house all those years ago Here's some local girls playing at a festival in their traditional dress the huipil, I have three myself This is in the middle of a round a bout its very beauty and depictions of the Mayan influence This is the theatre Peon Lopez Contreras you can come see plays concerts opera all for free! This is the front door of the oldest church in north and south America made with rocks from the Mayan village ruins that used to be right downtown where it is now a cultural Mecca, for all you guys that travel to Mexico don't overlook Merida I guarantee you'll love it!
