Enjoy the simple things in life!

On one of my trips to the island of La Palma (Canary Islands - Spain), I had the joy of making one of the most pleasant i have had, I was invited by my brother Juan Carlos and his son, my beloved nephew Rubén.
Juan Carlos does not have a car because they had just sold his, had no money because he was out of work, but what it does have is a great heart, an energy that leaves me impressed and eager to assist me with the joy and love of brother that characterizes him.
We walked from the house of my mother (who lives in San Antonio, on the upper-middle part of the island) to Los Cancajos, the lowest part that is on the coast, is a beach, hotel and tourism.
Our tour began on the road, from where I could see 180° of beautiful sea, the day was splendid, with a fresh holiday season temperature of approximately 18°.

During the tour we were talking, joking and slopes of the antics of lightning, the puppy of my nephew Rubén, who wore it tied with a belt for dogs, we still had to be alert because I believe that ray was as happy as I am with the promenade and wanted to come loose from the belt to go free as us, we won't let it because it was a danger for the cars that circulated in the area.
When you get down i was able to meet the small but nice resort and tourist hotel Los Cancajos, we traveled along the coast and then climb the mountain, nothing of roads this time! We had heated as our body to begin the climb!

Between smooth, wheezing and joys, we climbed the four by the mountain, between stones, shrubs and subsequently by a town very very steep until you get to the top, which led us to a narrow road full of typical houses on the island with large, cobbled walls and large banana plantations (small farms of plantain or cooking banana typical of the sector).
On the way I was able to collect some yellow flowers, so rare as precious and then served to decorate the Christmas table in my mother's house.
Coming out of this narrow road i realized that we arrived at a higher elevation when we left, we passed by the apartment of Juan Carlos, a hybrid me a coffee and we ended the tour coming to the house of my mother. That enriching and energizing walk on the Isla Bonita (so they say to the island of La Palma), full of love, joy and pure air.

It allowed me to appreciate the simple things in life are invaluable and that you don't need money to be able to enjoy a great day!
