Sochi

Sochi is a city in Russia, located on the north-eastern coast of the Black Sea (the Black Sea coast of Russia) in the Krasnodar Territory, at a distance of 1,700 km from Moscow. The population is 401 291 people.

Sochi is the largest resort city in Russia, an important transport hub, as well as a major economic and cultural center of the Black Sea coast of Russia.

Unofficially it is also called the summer, southern and resort "capital" of Russia. In 2012, Forbes magazine recognized Sochi as the best city for doing business in the country.

Rest in Sochi is interesting at any time of the year. In summer, tourists are attracted to the warm sea, beaches, hot sun and riot of subtropical vegetation. In winter, Sochi surprises with its contrasts. The coast can be very warm and green. At the same time, in the vicinity of Krasnaya Polyana mountain slopes cover the snow, and tourists ski.

The resort city is divided into four districts: Lazarevsky, Central, Khostinsky and Adler. In addition, it includes the village of Krasnaya Polyana, where the popular ski center is located. Sochi and its nearest resort environment have a well-developed tourist infrastructure. Several water parks, dolphinariums, zoos, museums, various sports and entertainment centers, as well as attractions have been built here.

In the vicinity of Sochi many unique natural beauties! The nature of the Caucasus is truly unique in its diversity: rugged mountain rivers, mysterious caves, fabulous cascades of waterfalls, shady canyons ... The Caucasus has an ancient history, in the vicinity of the resort you can find Ancient fortresses and Temples, mysterious dolmens and other objects of the Neolithic times ... Practically All these beauties are preserved by the Sochi National Park. Many facilities are landscaped for sightseeing visits, others are completely untouched. Sochi nature is unique and diverse - it's worth seeing with your own eyes! Coming to rest in Sochi, it's worth to visit and see the beauty of mountain rivers, white waterfalls, mysterious gorges and grottos, inexplicable dolmens and mirrored mountain lakes ... Do not miss this chance!
