Geothermal wonders in Tengchong 地热奇观 ，一泓热海（一）

Tengchong is located in the Hengduan Mountains of China, where the Eurasian and Indian continental plates meet. The crustal movement is active, so Tengchong is famous for its geothermal. It is said that in Tengchong, there are 99 volcanoes and 88 hot springs, known as the "Museum of Natural Volcanic Geology". Tengchong belongs to one of the three geothermal areas in China.

After visiting the Black Fish River, we went to a hot sea, where there are many hot springs, and the water temperature is really high about above 90 degrees. Even outside the park, you can see the foggy covered distant mountains.

Walk into the park, we visited the Geothermal Geology Museum first, which has large-screen video, a variety of pictures describing the geothermal landscape, so that people understand the causes of geothermal activity.

Walking towards the valley, the fog is getting thicker and you can see more hot springs.In Tengchong, you will see the phenomenon of "hot water in the village and hot springs in the countryside". We can have a bath in hot springs every day in Tengchong. After having the bath, you will feel smooth all over and very comfortable .

When you are in Tengchong's hot sea , it seems that you are walking into a wonderul land. The valleys are filled with thick fog and you can smell the sulphur , you can also hear the "hissing" sound of hot springs gushing out of the fissures. You will feel warm at the bottome of your feet , and you must be careful when you are walking because it the hot spring may hurt you .

腾冲位于我国横断山脉地带，正是欧亚大陆板块与印度大陆板块交汇处，地壳运动活跃，因此腾冲以地热闻名于世。据说，在腾冲境内，共有99座火山和88处温泉，被誉为“天然火山地质博物馆”，也是我国三大地热区之一。

我们游完黑鱼河便前往一泓热海，此处有众多的温泉，而且水的温度很高达90度以上。即使在公园的门外，也能看到远处山峦被雾气所笼罩。

进了公园门， 我们先参观了地热地质博物馆，里面有大屏幕的视频，各种图片展示地热景观，让人们了解了地热活动的成因。

往山谷里走，雾气越来越浓，温泉也越来越多。到腾冲你会看到“村村有热水，乡乡见温泉” 的现象。 我们在腾冲每天都能洗到温泉，温泉水洗完会觉得浑身滑爽，特别舒服。

走进腾冲热海，就仿佛进入了神话世界，山谷间弥漫了浓浓的热雾和阵阵的硫磺味，还夹杂着热泉从岩缝里喷涌出来时的“嘶嘶”声。走着走着，会觉得脚下热乎乎的，有的地方甚至要谨防烫伤。更多让人震撼的温泉水之后再与大家分享。
