Moving to Settle

The Buttcoins are in transit. Today you can follow our Journey from Krabi to Ko Pha Ngan. 8 Hours, from shuttle to bus, to boat, to taxi, to pool. Having been on the move every 2 or 3 days since arrival, we are feeling like settling into a place. We are a more stay in one place kinda travelers...so all this bee-popping around has us hankering to find comfy beach hut for a month. Lets see what we can Discover

As i continue on my journey of learning editing. Big shout out to Dtube and Dtubedaily for the inspiration and aide in learning to edit and produce short sketches, video logs, and short films. This hive mind supportive group way of working together is truly refreshing.....big ups Ddaily Fam...
i am lately focusing on improving my Thumbnails. I am striving to establish a feel to my thumbnails. keeping it simple, clear and aesthetic.
I am discovering little short cuts to make the overall editing process faster. I find having a loose storyboard plan helps. just filming at random then trying to trim down to good shots is very time consuming, switching and trying cuts in various places to see if they flow....vs a basic planned layout where the shots just slide into place. With this Vlog i focused in on the modes of transport. Everything came together easy and smooth. I managed to get this 3 minute vlog edited, music added and cut in...as well as thumbnail creation...all in under 3 hours. Dramatically shorter than a few weeks ago. Persistence and practice baby!
My goal is to get it down to 1 hour by the end of the trip....we will see how it goes.
