Views from this lovely monastery at 4100 mtrs / 13500 feet
North India is home to Himalayas and the state of Himachal Pradesh has a spectacular place called as "Spiti Valley" - this valley extends for miles and is home to numerous high altitude monasteries. One such monastery is the 'Key Gompa' located at a height of over 4100 meters above mean sea level - that is about 13500 feet!
By the way, 'Gompa' is a local word used for Monastery. I have been to the Spiti valley numerous times and the last trip was in the first week of April 2020. The peaks around still had a lot of snow as visible in these images here

The local lama even prepared tea for us in the kitchen!
