Trip to Grand Canyon.
So here are some more pictures from the Grand Canyon today. In our wanderings, we saw elk, deer, mules, squirrels, lizards, hawks, and one totally adorable 3 month old sheepadoodle puppy, among many other canine friends.

I am exhausted and my feet hurt a bit, but no other aches and pains. I managed to do this without falling. I highly recommend a set of walking sticks/poles. We all also recommend LL Bean's Vista Hiker shoes.

We also strongly recommend Wildland Trekking. We had a private guide who was awesome. Ask for Jeff. He was totally chill, very smart, and very patient with me.
In times like now, getting opportunity to enjoy the open space, the grandness of nature and for the first goddamn time in what feels like forever, getting away from the ilk of covid and the inner city madness attached to that, i'm getting a sense of "normalcy" once again and that, given the year+ of insanity that has emerged around us, is a very good thing!
